Winchester was the ancient capital of Wessex, in the Kingdom of England. Winchester Cathedral, dating back to 1079, has the longest nave in Europe. There is also a Castle at Winchester, and in the Great Hall is said to be King Arthur's Round Table. Although old, it is actually not old enough to be of Arthur's time, but it is a tourist attraction nonetheless.
